Equate is a brand well-known household to household.
It is the brand to choose when big-brand drugs and health products are too expensive, but the store brand just seems too risky for your taste.
They’re a perfect balance of value and brand reputation, giving you a good bargain every time.
In the name of informed consumerism; however, looking up a product’s reviews before indulging in said product is always a good idea, even when the product is made by Equate.
For that reason, I’d like to take a moment to talk about Equate whitening strips – what they’re all about and whether or not they’re worth the money.
Let’s get to it.
They’re Whitening Strips
Because there are so many types teeth whitening products on the market, it seems foolish to review a specific product without first talking about the category it belongs to.
Teeth whitening strips are the best when it comes to convenience.
And, while they may not be as cheap as powders, or as effective as gels, they meet somewhere in between, giving users a balance of effectiveness and value.
Whitening strips are, for this reason, the teeth whitening product that all others are stacked up against.
If you’re looking for convenience and a good quality-to-price ratio, the strips are for you.
They’re Cost Effective
Because Equate is already known as the “value brand,” I’ll keep this short.
In terms of price, Equate whitening strips are as good as it gets, especially relative to their quality.
Their price suggests they won’t work, though this is not the case.
While some whitening strips have a tendency of feeling slimy in one’s mouth, this isn’t really the case with Equate whitening strips.
While you’ll certainly still get at least a bit of that slimy sensation, you’ll experience this less so than with many products of its type.
If it’s an easy, comfortable whitening experience you’re after, the Equate whitening strips won’t steer your wrong.
This is, of course, the most important factor when considering buying any product.
I’m not going to say that these strips are indefinitely better than other, bigger brands’ strips, though they’re certainly no worse.
They do exactly what they’re supposed to do.
What else can you ask for in whitening strips?
They Might Slip Around a Little
This is my only major beef with this brand of whitening strips.
While they work great in every other regard, you may find them slipping out of place in your mouth.
Obviously, this won’t be an issue if you keep your mouth still the entire time that they’re in.
If; however, you plan on talking, drinking liquid, smoking, etc.
this may end up being a problem.
If you have a busy life and don’t have the time to sit around with a motionless mouth, you may want to keep shopping.
